But what I love most about passing the 9 month mark is the character that is showing itself. I am in awe of the vast improvements in the development that happens. for instance within one week she learnt to wave with her fingers, whereas she could wave with her arm before, and she learnt to clap too. My husband and I just gape at the speed in which this character building happens. she is just blowing us away in her strides :) But am loving every moment of this adventure. Speaking of adventure: Our crawling Monkeymooh has begun to realise that there are many more interesting places in our home that she has yet to discover. And boy has she discovered them fast! haha. Her favourite place at the moment is the bathroom- she loves standing at the bath and screeching. she thinks every moment she is able to get into the bathroom is bath time. Bath time is definitely happy time at this moment: even when she has a cold/luke warm bath like this morning because mommy forgot to put the geyser on :(
Someone very close to me gave birth recently to a beautiful Baby Girl. It made me realise how quickly one forgets how fast our children grow and how fast they outgrow being a baby. technically my Monkeymooh is still a baby- but the minute she started crawling the babyness disappears and they venture into toddler territory. That's what got me thinking about the photographs. I need more in order to remember so that I can look back and smile. Those precious moments last only but seconds, but when we take pictures they can last forever! So if you have children remember to capture those precious moments to that you can treasure them forever.
